Maurice LeBlanc was bold enough to write these stories less than 20 years after Conan Doyle first published his Holmes stories and about 25 years before Conan Doyle died. He was required to change the famous detective's name to Herlock Sholmes in the US version and Holmlock Shears in the UK. I guess there was no fan fiction back in the early 1900s. Nevertheless, now that the Holmes stories are in the public domain, everything has been corrected so that we are enjoying Sherlock and Watson.

I Heart Arsene!

I could listen to B J Harrison read the phone book. I LOVE his voice and expression! But add an Arsene Lupin story to the mix, and you have listening heaven. I'm on my third time through. I never thought I'd cheer for a burglar against Sherlock Holmes, but these stories make you do just that. Highly recommend.

As usual BJ does a wonderful job in producing an engaging and intriguing tale. He really is amazing, his voice characterizations and attention to detail along with production quality make it a wonderfully rich and rewarding audio experience.
