Another gem from HG Wells
From Margaret L Murdock of Gearhart, Oregon on .
Once again, HG Wells has used his story-telling talent to address difficult psychological and sociological issues. His ability to use precisely chosen details to illuminate character and relationships is remarkable. This story is entertaining despite its penetrating look at human nature and society.
(Once again, I can't be sure I have selected the five star rating I want)
Unexpected
From Shirley Williams of Searcy, Arkansas on .
This is a good story but it is not science fiction, which I was expecting. Mr. Hill finds himself in a moral dilemma and his self respect hangs in the balance. I wish the story had continued a little further so we could see what happened to him next.
