Great story (positively not long-winding as Collins' Moonstone)
From Anonymous of Valkemburv on .
Well done (aside from some doublures)
buy this audiobook, go on
From Hunter of Geneva, Switzerland on .
this is an excellent job, the narration conveys an impressive sense of thorough comprehension of this immense and often very silly book
like, I'm not sure, mary, can't we give it ONE more narrative frame? just for good measure?
it's a lovely reading with wonderful characterization, b.j.'s evocation of the creature has a depth of reality that amounts to acting
Frankenstein
From Shelley Parker of Bellthorpe, Australia on .
The narration is great.... But because it is all in one file, eg. no breaks between chapters, it is very hard to find where i stopped listening last time.
Much deeper than your typical horror novel
From Meagan of Pensacola, Florida on .
BJ's voice for the monster could not have been more perfect. Frankenstein will take you on an unexpected journey into heart of the human condition.
So Easy!
From Anonymous of Williamsville, Missouri on .
This is the first audio book I have purchased from this web site although I listen to the Classic Tales Podcast quite reguarly. I was very impressed with how easy it was to order. I am enjoying it now and will be back to the web site for more selections. Thank you!
Not what I was expecting :)
From Ammon of Columbus, Ohio on .
I typically steer clear of the Horror genre. But with Frankenstein I just couldn't resist.
WOW. What an incredible novel! I wish I'd have become acquainted with it years ago. It is a story that can change a man. Inspire him to be better and warn him not to necessarily chase his dreams. You never know what the realization of those dreams might be.
It is a story about what it means to be human.
And BJ does an excellent job in narating. I loved the monsters voice. It was perfect!
