Very Entertaining!

An interesting adventure tale far more nuanced than expected. Well narrated and very enjoyable. Interestingly I found out the story's hero is based on the author's father's life story.
I recommend this title.

I first read the Count of Monte Cristo when I was ten. Now, as an adult, I am thrilled to meet the characters once again. BJ Harrison offers the reader/listener a quality audiobook. I highly recommend The Count as well as any of the other books read by BJ.

Another outstanding performance by the wonderful BJ. He injects so much emotion into each character. It is simply captivating to hear his rendition of this tale. I have listened to another version from an excellent narrator, and it could not hold my attention. BJ is able to draw the listener in with his wide range of characters that are quite distinct from each other. You simply cannot go wrong with this wonderful interpretation of a classic piece of literature. No movie can even come close to the pictures painted by the always amazing BJ.

Another amazing production of a classic by BJ Harrison. I could never read this very long and intricate work. But I absolutely loved listening to it while I kept my hands busy with other things.
Epic Story and Narration

Finally got around to this classic adventure, after years of hearing folks bang on about it. It's a sprawling tale of intrigue and revenge, and well worth all the praise. I loved BJ Harrison's narration: full of suspense and emotion, he helped me keep track of the many characters. Recommended!

You will be immediately captivated by the tale of young and talented Edmond Dantes who has such a promising future. There are those, however, who are jealous and look for ways to bring him down any way they can. An excellent job by BJ.

I heard the first few chapters of The Count of Monte Cristo as part of a teaser at the end of a podcast. I immediately purchased the full recording and am thoroughly enjoying it.

BJ is a natural. This production is filled with character voices and he manages to transform himself seamlessly from one to another. His French is also spot on when needed. I anxiously await parts 2&3.
