“…utterly masterful.” -Jan Ackerson, editor and audiobook proofer
Sourced from four different translations, Victor Hugo’s immortal “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” is brought to life in a new production from producer and narrator B.J. Harrison.
Quasimodo. Esmerelda. Frollo. Phoebus. Hugo’s immortal tale of duty, desire and priestly revenge stands strongest on its own, and in this unabridged edition, it is more approachable than ever. Look into the mind of the fiercely loyal Quasimodo. Discover the world through the lovely eyes of Esmerelda. See the privileged and calculating past of the ignominious Frollo - all amidst the incredible backdrop of the gothic Notre Dame cathedral.
It was through this book that the cathedral was once saved from destruction. With an Introduction from historian, tour guide and podcaster Annie Sergent, this audiobook is a must to round out your audiobook library of the classics.

An absolute joy to listen to. Brilliantly red. I would have found it overwhelming to read but to be read to was just fantastic. BJ brings this astonishing work to perfect life. Can't recommend it warmly enough.
