Here is the complete and unabridged tale of Ichabod Crane and his ill-fated visit to Sleepy Hollow. Half of the charm of the tale is Irving's beautiful prose, as he describes the glorious New England countryside. But, of course, there are chills galore when the Headless Horseman appears. Another outstanding proof of why a classic is a classic. I tried something by Washington Irving in my youth and didn’t care for it. How fortunate! Now I can discover in my dotage why Irving is considered one of the first great American authors. Beautifully told by BJ, this short story has been a delight and will be followed-up by more from the Classic Tales library.

A superb reading of the classic! BJ Harrison makes the characters come alive. Yes, I know it's a cliche, but it is accurate. I enjoyed every single minute of the audiobook.
