Phenomenal
From Heather at CraftLit of New Hope, Pennsylvania on .
I hired BJ Harrison to read "Three Men in a Boat (to say nothing of the Dog)" for my podcast, CraftLit, based on his reading of this book. More than once he had upwards of five characters in one scene and EACH CHARACTER had a recognizably different voice. So much so that in chapter 69 his vocal work alone gives us a clue as to who is trying to remain incognito. Harrison and Dumas are a marvel of a team. I can't recommend this enough.
Epic Story and Narration
From Christopher Morlock of Phila., Pennsylvania on .
There is a moment at the end of chapter 83 where Dumas' epic tale and Harrison's epic narration collide, and I found myself saying "Yes!" out loud (to the surprise of those around me). Don't be intimidated by the length — this story is worth it! Recommended!
... what do you know, I changed it up for part three.
My Favorite
From Shirley Williams of Searcy, Arkansas on .
A couple of years ago a college coed told me this was her favorite book. I was not familiar with the story and, although I knew it was a classic, I assume it was of the "swashbuckling" variety. Now I understand why she chose it as her favorite! This is a great story and definitely my favorite of all the ones that BJ has done thus far.
Must Listen

I have been marathon listening to this for a few weeks now. Anytime I get a chance I'm plugged in and it is turned on. This is a fantastic reading a very interesting novel.
